about

Perspectiva Artificialis is a one-woman theatre show, first devised, written, and choreographed in 2017 by performer Fiona Rutkay. The work combines autobiographical elements, ballet, snippets from the history of perspective and musings on the nature of perception and how much of what we see is truly there. My score for the show was almost entirely improvised for solo piano, and while only a part of it was used in the end, I'm delighted to be able to present the majority of the work here on Bandcamp. Enjoy!
